Don’t give yourself B6 toxicity

"I started taking this around June of last year. I had been told by a previous doctor that my B6 was low, which is why I started taking it. Starting in November of last year, I started noticing some weird things happening with my body but they seemed so minor that I just ignored them. For instance, having restless legs at night, like I was about to get a Charlie horse. In December, the weirdness continued. I was driving back to work after lunch and started to feel lightheaded and my left pinky and ring fingers were going a little numb. Around NYE is when things got really hard to ignore, constant muscle twitching, headache, random body aches, pins and needles in my feet, then my legs, then my hands. I came to realize I had B6 toxicity. It’s a thing. Not everyone just pees out the excess and is fine. Also, this supplement has an abnormally high dose of B6 in it. Go ahead and compare it to a B complex and see for yourself. I stopped taking this 3 weeks ago. I’m getting better but my progress is not not linear. Every week or week and a half it seems to get worse after having gotten better, but overall my worst days are way better than they were in the beginning. Please, PLEASE don’t do this to yourself without knowing what might happen. Maybe this works for some but that was far from the case for me. Proceed with caution!"

Please be careful taking this!

"I've been taking this supplement for several months now, and thought all was well. I love my other Wholesome Story supplements. However, I just got a blood test last week and found out that my Vitamin B6 levels are DANGEROUSLY high - over twice the recommended limit! I talked to my dietitian who specializes in supplements, and she was surprised that a company is selling a supplement with such a ridiculously high amount of B6 - 2,341% of your daily value is overkill and could be dangerous. For context, women only need less than 2mg per day, as opposed to the 50mg in this product. I really wish I could love it, as I love my Wholesome Story inositol supplement, but too much vitamin B6 can be incredibly dangerous and I want to warn you to be cautious."

Cured my scalp - helps with insulin resistance too

"I found out the painful, hard way that Vitamin B6 deficiency is one of the causes of seborrheic dermatitis. You have to self-diagnose these days and treat my own conditions because once I go to the docs, they just prescribe drugs and they are clueless. I had a severe case of seborrheic dermatitis common in males normally since I am a high testo female (former athlete) and as a result I also have insulin resistance issues specifically peripheral insulin resistance. Vitamin B6 deficiency is associated with impaired insulin sensitivity and that is my case. Bingo. So ordinary B6 supplements aren't enough for me. I tried drugs on my scalp, none worked. Things were getting worse, I had open sores on my head. This one did and does wonders! My scalp is back to normal within 3 months it's been healed. Keep making this please, don't discontinue it. If I stop taking this, I start having itchy yeast stuff on my scalp. Apparently pesticides may cause vitamin deficiencies too."

Couldn’t be happier!

"This is the first zinc supplement I have taken that does not hurt my stomach. And the magnesium helps me sleep. Paired with Myo & D Chiro Inositol it has helped with my cycles and improved my monthly mood swings."

I finally sleep!!

"I have had PCOS for 2 years now and after getting off of spironolactone and birth control I found that the this was the only supplement to help me sleep. So thankful I found this brand and I am continuing to be an avid user of a MAJORITY of their products. THANK YOU!!"

Good but …

"I wanted to love this product but for some reason it destroys my stomach. Still trying to figure out a better way to take it because so far it makes me have THE WORST stomach aches."

Love It

"I bought this supplement to help with hormonal acne, which I feel it has (though not completely better). An added bonus I was not expecting is my body’s ability to process alcohol. I am someone who would feel hungover after 1-2 drinks, and I noticed after starting this supplement that this is no longer the case. I’m extremely happy about that!!"
